With over thirty years’ experience in transformations, Antoine is a strategy and employment relations consultant to French and multinational companies and groups in a wide range of sectors, helping them address the workforce challenges entailed in structural changes (restructuring, transformation, reorganisation, etc.).

In addition, Antoine assists his clients with corporate transactions (takeover bids, M&A, concentration, etc.), HR policy implementation (extended working hours, career management, mobility, training, etc.), and compensation policy (employee savings and shareholding schemes, executive officer status, etc.).

Antoine also supports his clients in complex collective bargaining litigation, as well as in criminal litigation as required.

He is a member of the IBA (International Bar Association) and EELA (European Employment Lawyers Association).

Before founding Vivant Avocats, Antoine was a partner at Barthélémy, created the employment law department at Eversheds Sutherland in Paris, and co-founded Cotty Vivant.

Antoine is ranked as a Legal 500 Grand avocat du marché and has been awarded an individual distinction by Chambers and Partners.

After graduating with a Master II degree in law and labour relations practice (DPRT) and a Research Master II degree in business law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Caroline has been an attorney since 2008.

Caroline worked for eight years in the employment law team at Gide Loyrette Nouel before joining Antoine Vivant’s team as Counsel in 2016.

With a double degree in employment law and business law, Caroline has developed specific expertise in corporate transactions and executive officer consultancy for the firm’s clients.

Caroline is a member of French Founders, Expertes France, and the Franco-Chinese Economic Law Association (AFCDE).

With a Master II degree in employment law and professional relations from the University of Paris X Nanterre and a Master II degree in company law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, Bertrand has been an attorney since 2011.

Before joining Vivant Avocats, Bertrand worked for Fieldfisher, and served as counsel in Antoine Vivant’s team.

Bertrand has developed special expertise in working time and company reorganisation.

He regularly lectures at the University of Paris X Nanterre.

Corinne Baron-Charbonnier practices employment law for 20 years, advising and litigating on behalf of national and transnational companies and groups.

Her practice covers all aspects of corporate social organisation (staff representation, collective bargaining, organisation of working hours, remuneration, employee savings and share ownership schemes, restructuring with or without collective redundancies) and social security law.

In particular, she has recognised experience in managing complex collective labour disputes between companies and their trade unions, and in employee representative bodies when they are set up as part of the transformation into a European company. She also provides comprehensive support to companies during URSSAF audits.

With a Master’s degree in labor law (1999 – Valedictorian) and a DEA in labor law (2000) from the University of Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne, Corinne was previously Counsel at CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats.

Pauline graduated from the ‘Science Po’ law school in Paris and has been an attorney since 2016.

She began her career working in Antoine Vivant’s team before joining Vivant Avocats.

She has developed specialist expertise in CSR and the roll-out of compliance policies in the field of social relations. She assists the practice’s clients as they manage employment and labour relations.

Louis has been an attorney with the firm since 2020, where he began his career. He previously served several internships in other law firms and worked in a legal tech firm in Lisbon, Portugal.

Louis holds a Master II degree in employment law from the University of Auvergne.

Graduating from the Master II Diplôme de Juriste Conseil en Entreprise (DJCE) at the University of Caen, Maeva has been an attorney since 2023 with the firm, where she previously completed two internships (2020/2021, then 2022).

Prior to her entry into the Paris Bar School, Maeva developed her practical skills in labor and social security law through several internships, notably with FIDAL and Fromont Briens. Maeva then acquired a highly operational vision of these subjects during an internship with Stellantis, a leading global automotive group.

Avocate en droit social depuis 2017, Anna est diplômée d’une double maîtrise en droit franco-allemand, d’un Master 2 spécialisé en droit social de l’Université Paris 1, Panthéon Sorbonne ainsi que d’un L.LM de l’Université Macquarie (Sydney – Australie).

Anna a rejoint l’équipe de Vivant Avocats en 2024 après avoir exercé 6 ans au sein de cabinets d’avocats internationaux.

Elle a développé une expertise particulière dans l’accompagnement de clients internationaux dans leur implantation en France ainsi qu’en matière contentieuse.

Anna travaille en français, anglais et allemand et s’investit au sein d’incubateurs pour accompagner startups et jeunes entreprises dans la construction de leurs équipes.

Jean Chauviré

Scientific advisor

Jean Chauviré is a consultant to the practice. He has worked as a magistrate, notably for the French Court of Cassation’s employment chamber.

He contributes to the development of the firm’s doctrine and provides specialist technical expertise, in particular for major, high-risk litigation.
